Greetings Fellow Toastmaster
You are one step away from receiving CONTEST IN A BOX – everything you need to run your International Speech and Table Topics speech contests.
This area contains instructions on how to download and read the zip file that contains all your files.
Make sure you save the files (by following the instructions on the download page) to your hard drive in a place you can find them. You might want to save the file to your "desktop" so you can find it easily and quickly once you have finished downloading.
The file will open into a new folder on your desktop. Unless you change the name of the file folder you downloaded, the file folder is named: INTL Speech and Topics Contest In A Box.
This file name is important to know if you have a problem finding the file later.
*** Opening the Zip File Folder ***
Once you have downloaded the file to your computer's desktop (or whatever folder you saved it in), open Adobe Acrobat Reader by clicking "Start" >>"Programs" >>"Adobe Acrobat" >> "Acrobat Reader."
Once you open the Adobe Acrobat Reader program click "File" >>"Open" >> then (if you save the file to your desktop) go to your desktop and open the file named "The_Art_of_Public_Speaking".
Your file folder will contain nine (9) PDF files:
- D84 INTL SPEECH Contestants Briefing Script
- D84 Topics Contestants Briefing Script
- Generic Speech Contest Appreciation Certificate
- Generic Speech Contest PARTICIPATION CERTIFICATES
- LISTS OF REQUIRED FORMS AND FOLDERS FOR SPRING SPEECH CONTESTS
- SAMPLE CLUB CONTEST SCRIPTS International Speech and Table Topics
- Sample Contest Agendas
- Speech Contest Briefing Scripts for Judges and Functionaries
- TI Speech Contest rulebook 2011
This should open the E-book file in your Adobe Acrobat Reader.
